What is in the launch build
From the studio's Early Access notes on Steam:
- Story: the first of three planned acts, "about a quarter of the story", fully playable.
- Length: 3 to 7 hours depending on your build, playstyle and side quests.
- Systems: every planned system and mechanic is already in and balanced for different playstyles: Karmic Types, attributes, specializations and perks, turn-based combat, crafting, stealth, storms and hazards.
- Feedback: a built-in bug report and feedback tool. Reports are only sent when you choose to send them, according to the studio's privacy policy.
Timeline so far
- June 2021 English translation of Olympus 2207, the team's Fallout 2 mod, is released and the sequel is announced (No Mutants Allowed forum).
- September 22, 2026 Steam page goes live and the game can be wishlisted.
- October 3, 2026 First of four devlogs, on the role-playing system and Karma.
- October 6, 2026 Steam Early Access.
- 18 to 24 months later Studio estimate for the full release.

When does Olympus 2249 come out?
Olympus 2249 enters Steam Early Access on October 6, 2026, on Windows. Dieselship Studio has not published an unlock hour.
How much is Olympus 2249?
A developer said on the Steam forum that it costs 20 USD, with regional prices calculated by Steam. The studio plans to raise the price step by step as content is added.
Is there a demo or can I play early?
No public demo. Asked how to get in early, a developer said the team is not recruiting more testers and that the game had already been tested extensively over the past year.
When is the 1.0 release?
No date. The studio expects Early Access to last roughly 18 to 24 months and says that may change with feedback.
Is Olympus 2249 on PS5, Xbox or Switch?
No console versions have been announced. The Steam page lists a 64-bit Windows build only.
